The 6GB RAM variant price of the handset has been increased from Rs 15,999 in India to Rs 16,999. Its big brother Redmi Note 9 Pro Max now comes with a starting price of Rs 16,499 instead of Rs 14,999 for the 6 GB RAM 64 GB storage variant.

Coming to the budget segment, the price of Redmi Note 8 in India has been increased by up to Rs 1,000. The base 4 GB RAM variant of the phone is now being sold for Rs 10,999 instead of Rs 10,499, while the 6 GB RAM variant costs Rs 12,999 to Rs 13,999.

The Redmi 8, meanwhile, will be available at Rs 7,999, priced at Rs 8,999. The Redmi 8A and Redmi 7A price have been increased by Rs 500, while the Redmi 8A Dual is up to Rs 1,000 crore more expensive than its earlier selling price. The 8A dual rear mop was Rs 6,499 for the 2GB RAM variant and Rs 6,999 for the 3GB RAM variant.
