monday night raw

Hello guys, welcome to Get News At Your Home. Today we are talking about the WWE Monday night results. When WWE approached the special edition of WWE Money in the Bank 2020 inside WWE's corporate headquarters, the April 27 edition of Monday Night Raw was entirely focused on the building until May 10.

Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins signed the contract for their WWE Championship clash. On Monday night, Seth wanted to bounce back from his loss to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 36 and would do anything to gain an advantage against the new champion.

Shayna Baszler, Asuka and Nia Jax faced off before their participation in the Women's Money in the Bank 2020 ladder game. Only one woman could continue to build momentum towards MITB. Zelina Vega's impressive trio of Andrade, Angel Garza and Austin Theory needed to bounce back after some tough losses.

Montel Vontavious Porter introduced the three Raw competitors who would be fighting in the Money in the Bank ladder match: Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black, and Apollo Crews. Zelina interrupted to challenge the three men, asking them to give up their opportunities for Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. This started a fight that turned into a six-man team match. Mysterio displayed his athleticism, making sure the entire Vega team was out of balance. The heels managed to isolate the Dutch destroyer to gain the advantage. The teams finally got the hot tag and left. He was prepared to take down Theory, but chaos ensued. The helpless recovered and presented El Idolo with a powerbomb to take the victory. Mysterio, Black, and Crews def. Andrade, Garza and Theory by pinfall.

Asuka cut a promotion on Nia Jax for injuring Kairi Sane before her competitors stepped out into the ring. Before the bell could ring, a fight began. Shayna Baszler downed The Empress of Tomorrow outside. As Asuka and Baszler exchanged fists, Jax pulled the two women out with a ladder, standing as the dominant force in the women's division. The party could never get going. Charly Caruso interviewed Jax, who said that no one could stop her from doing whatever she wanted. It makes sense to save this Triple Threat for later as you build towards Money in the Bank. These three women have a legitimate chance to win the briefcase, and they must all be protected to some degree. However, this felt too artificial. The Queen of Spades decided to fight rather than fight, attacking a woman who had a fight with another woman in combat. It was a messy segment that accomplished nothing.

Bobby Lashley told Lana to stay behind the scenes because it was a huge distraction. The All-Mighty dominated Denzel Dejournette, taking the victory with a spear. Winning Lashley would have meant much more if she had defeated a real threat after leaving Lana behind. His wife may be a distraction, but it wouldn't have prevented The All-Mighty from defeating one of NXT's enhancement talents. It will be interesting to see where the happily married couple goes from here. Lana is supposed to be a manager first. Keeping her behind defeats the purpose of her even signing with WWE.

In a rematch last week, Liv Morgan countered Ruby Riott's early family offense but was met by Riott's kick. Somehow, Morgan managed to kick her old friend's final move. The impact left Morgan vulnerable. Riott stomped on Morgan and sent her to the ropes. While recovering from the ropes, Morgan hit Oblivion for the count of three. Later, Byron Saxton interviewed Morgan, who said she was sure he would find out who he was.

Jinder Mahal returned to in-ring action dominatingly. He eliminated Akira Tozawa with a high kick that ensured that the Japanese Superstar was unable to return. He connected with the Khallas for victory. However, he hasn't added much to his move set. WWE will need to rebuild it quickly if there is any plan to treat it as the heel that won the WWE Championship instead of the former champion 24/7.

Matt Martel and Chase Parker displayed the insight of their tag team by isolating Ricochet, but a hot tag for Cedric Alexander quickly changed the situation. MVP appeared on the screen to announce that he had recruited the first fighters for his group, Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink, who wanted a rematch against Ricochet and Alexander. This last tag team match for Ricochet and Alexander continues to show off their potential as a duo, but it doesn't make squash matches any more exciting. It would be more fun to pair them with competitive tag teams. In fact, it would have made more sense to pair him with Ricochet and Alexander.

Seth Rollins explained that he would not pursue Drew McIntyre because he did not like the WWE champion. I was doing this for the greater good. McIntyre was not buying it and told him to stop talking. He needed to go to the throat, not just make a statement. The Messiah kept talking as he signed the contract, but McIntyre shut him up by hitting his head on the table. Murphy made the save but took a Claymore for his problems. This was a great quiet end to the night. Rollins did a strong promotion to sell his stance. He continues to speak a great game but does not comply. However, he promised here that the full picture would be made clear in Money in the Bank. It will be interesting to see what comes from this match. It could be as simple as The Scottish Superstar featuring The Messiah on his way to a dominant title reign. It would be interesting if something else came out of everything. Perhaps a new follower will appear, or Rollins achieves the unthinkable and wins.
